With this advantage, the Leken family, which is based in Geneva with Rolex, 

became famous in the fieldof purely handmade mechanical 

watches at the beginning of the 20th century. With the 

Second World War looming over the European continent, 

beginning in 1935, Roger Leken of the Leken family 

saw a new opportunity and decided to use part of the plant and 

its workers to produce Duvets for the Allied Officer 

Corps in preparation for war. 

The quality of Seiko won the market recognition, 

during this period of rapid development of the Leken 

duvet business, and his name as the brand Leken,
